How scared must Obama be of gun owners to back down over remanufactured ammo without a fight?
I and many other recreational shooters have been sickly worried about what Obama will do to our 2nd ammendment rights, our ability to have and shoot guns of our choice. But barely a week went by after his first act in which the DOD was ordered to melt down brass rather than sell it to be remanufactured for civilian shooters, and he already backed down. Just the same way, we haven’t heard peep about the so called assault weapons ban since Pelosi dismissed it. Is he biding his time, or doesn’t he have the onions of a Dick Cheney to take on controversial issues?
It’s a shell game, Obama backs down from an empty act and then turns and says “look I’m on your side I can be reasonable”. Then when he thinks he has the trust of the normal lawful Americans who own guns he will say “look I gave you your brass but you have to give up your guns, it’s only fair”.
You can’t grow Government, make it part of every aspect of your life and expect to have freedom and liberty. It’s not in their interest to have a populous capable of fighting tyranny.
